About
SHE/HER/HERS
Nancy is a creative and energetic chaplain and pastor in the United Methodist Church. She grew up in Florida and has called Nashville, TN home since 2006. She has a BA in music (with a focus in world music study) from Florida State University and a Masters of Divinity from Vanderbilt University. She has served as the Vanderbilt Wesley Fellowship Director, United Methodist-Affiliated Chaplain at Vanderbilt University, pastored West End UMC and Hillcrest UMC congregations, and is currently working PRN (as needed) as a Chaplain at TriStar Southern Hills Hospital in south Nashville.
Nancy loves supporting couples through premarital counseling or better named, relationship chaplaincy. She enjoys hearing your stories, holding important conversations about strengths and growth areas, and helping craft where you’ve been, who you are, and where you’re going into a meaningful ceremony.
Nancy lives with her spouse, Geoff, her son Liam, and energetic dog, Lex. When not in the nearest available boat or swimming pool with a snack and beverage, Nancy is picking up sticks/rocks, visiting the zoo, or at the playground with Liam. She also hopes to one day re-start her Modern Day Flapper podcast interviewing friends about women’s identity outside marriage and motherhood.
Fun Facts: Nancy is an eight on the enneagram, adores Mexican food, and is an amazing singer with deep affinities for Sarah Bareilles, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Cynthia Erivo, and Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors.
